I went to McDonald to drive-through with a friend of mine this early morning.

I ordered something like a pita bread sand put a deep-fried breaded cutlet of shrimp and a plastic container of tea. My friend ordered a teriyaki burger set and a plastic container of orange juice.

What we had were delicious.

After that I went to downtown to do my part-time job.

I went to TSUTAYA to buy some books about Britain.

I looked for them but they weren't sold there. I decided to go another stores another day. Then I rent some CDs of famous singers.
I drove my parents' car while listening to music.

★Surprising restaurant★

I went to a restaurant in downtown to have dinner with one of my friend this evening.

We ordered a pasta of shrimps and green asparagus, a pasta of mozzarella cheese with tomato sause a salad of raw ham and mozzarella cheese, a chocolate chips unbaked cheesecake, gateau chocolat, a cafe au lait and hot coffee.
Those dishes were so delicious but we found an outrageous thing. What do you expect it is?

It's a mouse―――!!!!∑(￣□￣；) Its color was gray and it was small. I was nearly shouted to find it but stopped doing so because the place was a restaurant and there were many customers there. Thereupon my friend secretly told an employee that there was a mouse under the table. What the employee did, however, was just nodding. So we worried about the mouse during our dinner time. Something shops have to keep cleanliness.

★Beauty salon★

I went to a beauty salon to have my hair cut.

I put extension in my hair. The extension were mixed with pink, gold, black and brown.
It made my hair longer. I'm so happy to look at a mirror.
Then a cosmetician combed my hair off and have my hair set.

I bought nail chips. They were practiced French arts and were so pretty. It cost about 4500 yen.

I went to my part-time workshop after I felt good.

★Voting★

I went to the forth training camp to vote in the lunch hour today. A piece of paper had names of five people. If a man reconfirmed each person, he had to draw circles on this paper. But if he didn't reconfirm each person, he had to draw nothing on this paper. I drew circles to the squares of all of candidates.
If I didn't vote, I'll have to participation in a long-distance relay road race in winter. So I don't have to participation it. I feel so easy now!

We wrote letters on a piece of big paper with a Magic Marker, pasted a lot of photographs of good and bad points as barrier free and made comments on these photographs.
It's so difficult for us to memorize all of comments but we'll work as hard as possible.

★My part-time job★

I did my part-time job from at four p.m. to at eight thirty p.m. today.
I went to work faster than usual because a person who does the part-time job together took a day off today.
It was only me that did the part-time job today so I felt busier than usual. I did the dishes wash up, wrapped a lot of madeleines up, made molds, picked up the phone, helped with making cakes, served customers and so on.
I worked so hard that the lower part of my back hurts.

After my working, I was given a lot of sweets:cream puffs, chocolate banana rolls and savarins.

My family looked as if they're enjoying eating these sweets. It made me so happy and thought I'll work harder after this.

★My sweet heart★

I went downtown with two friends of mine and my boyfriend after school today.
I went to a restaurant "ITALIAN TOMATO" to eat pasta and salad. I ordered pasta of spinach, healthy salad and a glass of ice cocoa. Those dishes were so delicious and I wanted to eat dishes they served again.

I quarreled with my boyfriend about trifles while we were walking around downtown. I got mud but he pacified my wrath. He is so kind, broad-minded and sweet all the time. He is the same age with me but I think him as if senior than me. He accept such a self-willed person. We've been doing for about seven months and we often have quarrels. Considering every peaces, however, I love him very much.

I wrote that my treasure is my cellular phone on the black board. I carry my cellular phone with me all the time. I frequently use it and cannot live without it. Because of that, my cellular phone is my treasure.

★Breakfast★

I ate boiled rice with wasabi, soaked in tea for breakfast this morning.
A sack of boiled rice soaked with tea was a little big but I thought it was OK. First, I sprinkled all of it on white rice. Second, I poured tea on it. It looked so delicious and wanted to eat it soon.

I sampled the taste. Wow! it tastes very good!…Huh? It's sharp on the tongue very much! Wasabi made my tongue burn, my eyes water and I felt pain in my nose. I couldn't eat it any more so I put more tea on the rice. I tried to eat. It was still sharp on my tongue but I eat it in one.

I decided to use a half of a sack of boiled rice soaked with tea after this.

I said that today's topic would be Restaurant, which was wrong.

I asked one of my friend about her family's jobs. Her father is a Japanese teacher, her mother is a health nurse and her brother is a high school student. Then she wants to be an official worker. I realized all of her family did special jobs. In fact, my father is a bank clerk, my mother is a housewife and my younger brother is a high school student. Now I'm a college student but I want to be a ground hostess in my future.

By the way, our group handed in a videotape to our teacher today but I'm not persuaded the result. For I have no time to memorize what I should explain because of preparation of Takuma festival and the festival. I want to be perfectly next chance.

★Takuma festival★

We had Takuma festival for three days from on November 1 to 3 at our university. Students opened bazaars on the campus and each circles put the students' works on display in each classrooms. I wandered around here and there, bought variety foods and enjoyed appreciated some exhibitions.

I ate yakitori, egg rolls, a croquette, a rice croquette, potato fried in butter, an ice cream in a kind of doughnut, a pound cakes, deep-fried whale meats, chocolate fondue, cheese fondue, tofudon, fried skewered cutlets, deep-fried crusts dressed with soybean flour, spun sugar, crepes, a frankfurter sausage and cheese cakes. Then I drunk a tapioca drink and ginger ale. I had an upset stomach from eating too much, he-he.

Anyway I had a wonderful time for three days and I realized festivals had at university was so enjoyable. So I'm looking forward to a festival next year.

★A part-time job★

Yesterday I first did a part-time job in a cake shop.
I was so nervous because the first time to do a part-time job.
First, I wore a uniform which has ten buttons then I was braced up.
After that, I washed my hands, as I was told by a shop manager.
Then I broke some eggs, cut circles out of the whole surfaces of a few flat sponge cakes, removed frozen pies from molds, put cut sponge cakes on fresh cream and poured a bowl of water into a watering pot.
And more, I was taught how to serve customers by an senior by three years.
I'll do my part-time job every Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday.
I'm very looking forward to working from now on.

The topic was Advice in English Speaking class today.

I wrote "You have to save money." on the blackboard. After that I found someone who has a messy room. I gave her an advice "Why don't you clean your room?" In fact I also have a messy room so I should clean my room, too.

We discussed our new restaurant and made a Restaurant Menu Planning Sheet. There were seven questions on the paper. The first question was "What kind of restaurant have you chosen? What is your restaurant's name?" and we answered it's Pasta&Pizza then the name of our restaurant is Picklino. The second question was " What are the important characteristics of a menu for the restaurant you have chosen?" and we answered almost dishes they serve were made with pickles. The third question was " What detail make sense for food items?" and we answered pickles, spaghetti, flour chocolate and so on. The forth question was " Does the menu go beyond simply naming the food item? What kind of names are used?" but we didn't understand the question so we've not answered the question yet. The fifth question was " What typeface best fits the menu? How large should it be?" and we answered it's pop character then the size is large enough to read for old people. The sixth question was " What colors belong on the menu? How do the color s relate to the other elements of the menu?" and we answered green, red and white then the colors relate to Italy. The last question was " What kind of images would best represent the restaurant and why? How do the images on the menu relate to the food and the restaurant?" and we answered it's pickles because the store manager loves pickles very much then they serve dishes containing plenty of pickles.

★The best supper★

I went to the store named Kentucky fried chicken for supper with my boyfriend after school today. Since we went there after a long time, I was in high spirits.

I ordered a fried chicken, shoestring potatoes and iced tea with syrup.

We enjoyed talking while eating such foods we ordered.

I found someone who has favorite food. It was ice cream. I like ice cream, too. And my favorite flavor is chocolate. She seemed to like strawberry.

Yesterday when I was having lunch with some of my friends in the student cafeteria, a students studying abroad sit behind us. I glancing at them, we looked at each other.

"What are you drinking now?" I asked and the man came to me.
"What's your name?" he asked me and I answered.

It was the first meeting of he and I.

After we waved good-bye there we met again on the campus. We were talking for a while and we exchanged our E-mail addresses.

To speak English better, I have to practice talking in English repeatedly.

★A parade through the city★

Yesterday all the circles of culture in our school paraded through the city for publicity purposes. What were the publicity of? It's our school festival called Takumasai. We're going to have it on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November in 2007.

We had been preparing for the parade since this summer vacation. We had made our own costumes and a portable shrine together. It had been so hot that it had been hotter in our club room. It was as hot as if one had been in a sauna but we tried to make costumes and a portable shrine as hard as our can. In spite of having class the next days, we worked till at ten p.m..

The appointed day arrived at last. Boys members carried our portable shrine to Shirakawa Park from at five thirty and girls members cleaned our workshop from at six thirty. After that we girls members put on costumes and put on makeup carefully. We put on red eye shadow and black eyeliner to the diagonally above as if we had been dragon tamers after for our portable shrine whose theme was a powerful white dragon. And then we put our hair up and painted our nails red. Boys members also put on makeup meant to give impressions of dragon tamers. I found making up, a person change very much.

After an opening ceremony we left our school. It was a fine day and we walked in the afternoon sun so we're dying of thirst. We had something to drink twice only when we rested at Shirakawa Park. We bathing in the sun on our way to our school, our back were very red.

We had a wonderful time because of having been taking great pains until yesterday. Now my back and shoulders hurt due to getting sunburned but this has become a pleasant memory for me.

First, we decided prices of such dishes. Spaghetti & pickles is 980 yen, Pickles pizza is 1000 yen and Chocolate pizza is 1280 ｙen. And then we added four dishes; Mango pizza, Curry pizza, Dip pasta into special vegetable sauce and Chocolate & cheese fondue pasta. Their prices are 880 yen, 900 yen, 1500 yen and 1500 yen respectively. Next, we decided the place where this restaurant is located is underground of this school. After, we made simple recipes of each dishes in Japanese. Finally, we decided designs this restaurant is shaped a pickles and chairs of this restaurant is shaped a pizza.

This was the first English speaking class today.
I was very happy to meet my classmates and my teacher.

Today's topic was Vacation. I found someone who wanted to go Okinawa during vacation but couldn't. In the fact, I was also going to Okinawa for club activity but I couldn't because I went to the driving school during this summer vacation. So I understood her regret very well.

Then we were divided into small groups. Our group's job is to make a restaurant. I decided that our restaurant type was pasta & pizza, that our restaurant name was Picklino, that recommended dishes were Spaghetti & pickles, Pickles pizza and Chocolate pizza. We have still a lot of things to decide so we will discuss another day.

After the third period our group members discussed presentation for an hour and a half an hour in the student cafeteria.

We measured the time we spent in showing our new country and it took more than ten minutes.

Tempura

I'm sorry to late for typing.

I just finished my sociological written homework assignment. It was to tired too move a finger now. Anyway, I feel relieved to finish it.

By the way I ate tempura for the evening meal. I deep-fried the vegetables such as carrots, pumpkins, common beans, onions, king oysters and prawns. My stomach was full due to deep-fry. But all of them were very delicious.

The typhoon

I'll tell you the story I had experienced yesterday.

According to the weather forecast the typhoon was approaching the Kyusyu Continent. My family members were so scared that we decided to make extremely hasty preparations in precaution against the typhoon. My parents went to the store to buy canned provisions such as salmon, crabs, tuna, mackerel and skip jack tuna. And they also bought candles for lights. I stuck tapes on the windows in anticipation of a gale.

I took a bath earlier than usual in case the power supply is cut off.

About five hours later the weatherman said that the typhoon veered east. When I heard that, the strength drained out of me.

Anyway, we felt relieved.

Korean conversation test

The second period was Korean. I took the test that we must answer to the questions given by Mr. Paku in Korean. Finishing our turns, we could leave the room but my turn was the thirty-seventh. So I spent very long time on practicing the conversations with Korean.

My turn came. I introduced myself and enjoyed having conversations with Mr.Paku. He said that it was okay. I felt relieved to hear that. I must have got a good score.

It is said that the typhoon is coming this evening or tomorrow. Be careful not to blown off your feet!!

A search system

I went to the school library to borrow some books for the written homework assignments.

I searched for some reference books with a search system. When I input some keywords, a lot of books were indicated on the screen. I choice three books out of the forty. I found it very useful.

It was good to find books I had been searching for. But it was very difficult to discover books I had searched for. I didn't know where to look for. Discovering them, I had already tired. What was worse, it had got dark and it had begun to rain.

I tried to go home.

Absence

I was absent from school today because only a day has passed since yesterday.

I had been sleeping until at lunchtime. I feel better than yesterday.

Poor health

This is the story I had experienced yesterday.

I had been in poor physical condition since about three days ago. I had had a sore throat, cough, headache, stomachache, a slight fever and felt so groggy.

I went to school but I was too tired to hang on teacher's words.

I saw a doctor as soon as I went home. The doctor said my throat was inflamed and I was put on the drip for three hours. After that I felt better than before that and I went home.

I went to bed soon.

Today's class

Today's topic was Parts of the body but the topic was changed to Favorites.

I wrote a sentence that my favorite fruits is orange on the blackboard.
I found someone who has favorite singer. His favorite singer was YUI because her songs are good. I thought so, too. I also like Kumi Koda because she is cute and cool, and I feel her soul.
Then we practiced the discussion. We, three, discussed the rainy season in front of others. I got tense but I tried as hard as I could.

Tomorrow's topic will be Parts of the body.

I want to learn how to express parts of the body in English tomorrow. I have never broken my bones but I think I'll try find someone who has broken a bone. Prepositions used with words differ with parts of the body. So I want to study it, too.

I'm sorry to be late for contributing.

It is the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar.

We would have the tanabata drink party as a circle activity today. We had decided to begin at 7:07'07 in the evening on July 7. And we were going to go to the party in our yukata. So I was looking forward to the party very much.

However, it was also rainy today. The official advice to evacuate was given because owing to the heavy rainfall, rivers have risen by a few maters. It was very dangerous to go there so I canceled my appointment.

Heavy rain (+_+;)

This is the story I had yesterday.

I had classes from the first period yesterday in the morning. I go to school by bus, train and on foot every day. However we had a heavy rain so I decided to go to school by taxi yesterday.

I left home at about 8 but I reached school at 9 because I was caught in a traffic jam.

I was very frightened to see lightning flash.

I worry about being overtaken by disaster.

Interval of clear weather

We had not so rain as much as yesterday today.

It was a little fine weather after a long spell of rain today, but today was the only day that I had no plan.

The weather forecast predicts a continuance of bad weather, but I wish it were sunny tomorrow.

★Discuss★

On July 4, our group members Yuki Yamamoto, Saori Tsunoda and I discussed our country Freedonia from 2:30 for an hour and a half an hour in the student cafeteria.

I decided an average temperature of the four seasons, language, an insect, a flower, a tree, a race, the national flag, religion, industry and two more famous places.

In spring the temperature is twenty degrees, in summer it's fifty, in autumn it's zero and in winter it's minus sixty. Freedonian is spoken in Freedonia. Butterflies inhabit forests here. A lot of hibiscuses grow everywhere in Freedonia. Palms are growing here. There are the black, white and yellow races all over this country. The Freedonian national flag has four colors blue, green and doubled-white. Each colors have own means. Blue means the Pacific Ocean, green means majestic nature, one white means bones and the other means freedom. In Freedonia, the Christian religion is deeply rooted in people's lives. About industry, fashion accessories made of shells are famous. Tagnia is the place where people can pick miracle fruits. Miracle fruit is very mysterious. After eating it, any sour fruits taste sweet. Stonia is the place which said that hidden treasures are lying unexploited.

The rainy season;;;

This is the story I had experienced the day before yesterday.

As it is just the rainy season now it had been raining since last week. If the rainy season were over at once, we could enjoy the fireworks.

When I went to the station on foot after I work hard at training, I felt an acute pain in the sole of the foot. As I looked at my sole of the foot, I had got a corns on them. I shuffled to the station. I received an e-mail from my mother in the train. It's awful kind of her to pick me up to the station where I got off.

Today's Speaking class

Today's topic was Vacation. I was surprised at the girl who has a passport. So I used English Aizuchi "Oh, really?"

I also learned about Fashion today. I had to describe the fashion style but the fashion I had to describe was in the Indonesian style. So I found it was very difficult to describe the unique style.

Before tomorrow's class

I 'll have English Speaking class tomorrow. The topic will be Vacation.

I want to ask some classmates about travels and when I'm given answers by classmates, I'll try to have English Aizuchi.

I have to exercise in debate.

Make myself at home (v_v*)

This is the experience which I had yesterday.

I was so tired that I stayed at home in a leisurely way. I had to print my training daybook as P.E. homework so I finished it yesterday.

And I picked up my father at his office in the car which my mother drove.

The strange atmosphere (＊-＊;)

I worked hard at training after school today. I usual do with my boyfriend but we were not on speaking terms at the moment so I did alone today. There was no point in training by myself.

Any way, it was so strange weather that I faced a difficult situation. A strong wind, rain and sun shine swept over me. Because of this I had my hair blown to be untidy so I went home to avoid being seen.

It was really strange atmosphere today.

It is uncomfortable weather (-_-;)

It was now raining and now shining today so today's weather was very strange.

The second period was gymnastics. I worked hard at training in the training room. I pedaled a bicycle so hard that beads of sweat broke out on my brow. And what was worse, there was not a breath of wind and the air was very lukewarm there. I came within an inch of a fall down but I tried.

Lunch I had later was very delicious (^□^#)

The bad day

This is a story about yesterday.

I left my cellphone in my home today (―□―;) I was very shocked because I couldn't act in contact at all with friends of mine. What's more I had circle activities today but I couldn't know what to do, when to start and where to go.

Because of this I decided not to take a share in today's activity after all.

Today I felt so unwell from early in the morning. Be careful everyone too!!

I'm sorry to type at a too late hour.

On June 26 Our group members Yuki Yamamoto, Saori Tsunoda and I discussed our country Freedonia at four in the afternoon for thirty minutes in the library at this school.

Our country named Freedonia faces the Pacific Ocean so a lot of people here have sea horses for pets. The capital of Freedonia is Freedamia and it has a population of 1,000,000. The climate here is tropics. Freedonia is famous for a sea horse and the food called rice boiled in a turtle's upper shell. And the famous river is Frozen river which is 8,000 kilometers long. It is the longest river in the world, shaped just like a spiral, always frozen, and the aurora is visible. The famous mountain is Mt. Rainbow which is 7,000 meters above sea level. A rainbow is always spanning in it. Then there are the famous places here. One is a place called Pondenia. There is a crop circle in the place and a rumor is going around that UFOs and aliens sometimes appear here.

Up to this point and we'll discuss again.

Today's class

The topic was fashion at the class today. I memorized the words"attractive"and "bald". Then I learned a phrase"a man with a pierced ear" and I found that one of my classmates liked second-hand or recycled cloths.

Next we made groups to discuss our original countries. Our group members named our country Freedonia. We'll talk about characteristic of Freedonia some other day.

Summer!!

It is hot today! And it is a humid weather today!
Let's enjoy hot summer and overcome this heat together!!

The bowling match (*^_^)/ ==○iiiii

Yesterday afternoon we, members of a syodo club had a bowling match with members of an overseas studies club at a bowling alley. The first prize were a very big stick of gum in the shape of a 10,000 yen bill and a prize of 5000 yen, and the second prize was an umaibou pack.



A feeling of tension before the game had been so terrible that I worried about a lot of mistakes, but a result of a good fight I kept the good score 128 in the first game. In the second game though I made a little mistakes, I kept the score 123.



Unfortunately our team was the bottom of the four teams and of course there was no consolation prize at all, but I enjoyed playing games very much and I could think that the match was the thing for communicating with other people so I had a really wonderful time yesterday.



I'm looking forward to the next chance!!

☆The welcome party for new students☆

Today, we have a welcome party for new students. (☆v☆) It is the very day which I have been looking forward to. (#＞▽＜)

We all have to introduce ourself to all people come to the party and all boys also have to display their accomplishments on the stage. (^▽^;)Girls have nothing on our mind because such things but I will feel nervous to look at the boys displaying their accomplishments(._. ;)

But anyway I think I try to enjoy the party and I want to make friends from other circles today.
