BR 1-12: The Motorway

Biff and Chip went to stay with Gran. I also would often go to stay with my grandparents when I was a little girl. Gran lived in a little village. My grandparents live in Koto in Kumamoto city, so I can stay with them as soon as I want to do so. Biff and Chip liked staying with Gran. Of course I like to stay with my grandparents very much. Gran was good fun. My grandmother is kind, sweet and good fun, too. Gran made Biff and Chip laugh. My grandmother often makes my younger brother and me laugh because of her many jokes.

Gran took Biff and Chip to the shed. My grandparents also have one in their garden. Gran had a surprise for Biff and Chip. It sounds interesting. Open the door. My heart beat faster then. She had got a surprise for Biff and Chip. I wondered what was it. Sure enough, What is it? Biff and Chip opened the door and looked inside the shed. My heart much faster then. Biff and Chip had a big surprise. What was it? There was a dragon in the shed! I thought that was beyond the realm of possibility. It was not a real dragon. It was a kite. Well, that explained it. Biff and Chip looked at the kite. Also I looked the illustration. It was a Chinese dragon kite. It was wonderful. I've never seen such a kite before. The children wanted to fly the kite. I had the same thought as them.

It was a good day for a picnic and to fly the kite, but it was quite windy. I wanted to experience their situation, too. I thought Biff who wanted to fly the kite first was self- centered boy. Gran found a good place for the picnic. Where was it? It was near her house. I really envied them. This was a good place to fly the kite. I wanted such a place near my house, too. She let Biff fly the kite first. Gran was kind. The wind took the kite up in the sky. It looked so interesting. It went higher and higher. I would rather fly my body than fly the kite. It also looked wonderful. He enjoyed doing so very much, but suddenly the wind got stronger. Oh my God! I worried about that. The kite blew away and landed in a tree. I was upset.

In the end, someone got the kite down with a long pole. I felt easy then, but I was sad to hear that they wanted to build a motorway and to put it right there. Gran told people in the village about that. Everyone wanted to stop the motorway. Of course so did I. They made banners and posters said stop the motorway. Because of that Biff and Chip gave Gran the rare flowers, they couldn't put a motorway there. The rare flowers saved the village. That was very good.

BR 1-11: The Jigsaw Puzzle

What is Jigsaw puzzle? It is a picture printed on cardboard or wood, that has been cut up into a lot of small pieces of different shapes that you have to fit together again. And what does jigsaw mean? It means a mysterious situation in which it is not easy to understand all the causes of what is happening; a complicated problem.
The story made me feel like doing the jigsaw puzzle that the children doing the jigsaw puzzles, so I would often do jigsaw puzzles with my grandmother, my mother and my younger brother when we had enough time to do them.It looked so interesting to enter the world of the jigsaw puzzle which the children were doing then, and I wanted to enter the world, too.
How good that idea that the children's father escaped in the disguise of an old woman was!

Food And Eating Habits
I often have breakfast at about 7 in the morning. I usually have white rice, miso soup and some dishes accompanying the rice such as sweetened and soy-flavored omelets, eggs fried sunny-side up, roast fish, scrambled eggs, Vienna sausages, fish sausages, salamis, Hizikia fusiforme and so on for breakfast. I often have lunch at about noon. I usually have sandwiches, palm-sized triangle, ball, or cylinder of cooked rice usually wrapped in thin sheets of dried seaweeds and stuffed with a pickled plum, some tuna or salmon flakes, fish eggs, spicy vegetables, or other fillings, sweet buns, deep-fried curry-flavored rolls, kind of deep-fried rolls, cream buns, jam buns, loaves of bread, white bread, brown bread, stuffed buns, raisin bread, French rolls, bread sticks, half-melon shaped buns flavored with artificial melon, rolls, buns with bean-jam inside, spaghetti alla carbonara, spaghetti and meat sauce, omelets containing stir-fried rice as a filling, soba and thick white noodles made from wheat flour, salt, and water. I often have dinner at about 8 in the evening. I usually have croquettes, hamburger steaks, boiled meat and potatoes with soy sauce and sugar, vegetables or fish dipped in batter and deep-fried, fried prawns and so on. When I'm at KGU, I'm forced to eat convenience foods or student cafeteria's foods, but I still think that dishes my mother cooks are the most delicious foods. I love dishes my mother cooks very much.

Story
I watched Shrek on DVD with my mother, my younger brother, my father and me when I had enough time to watch it and it was interesting very much. I thought Shrek was very strange, grotesque and it made me feel bad at the first time. Although Shrek looked like so, but I recognized he was so kind, sweet, intelligent, funny, cute and more. He had green skin. He is monster. He helps beautiful princess. The princess is sleeping a lot of time.
Many Disney's characters appear in this story. The princess Fiona was elected a king. King was small man. He will have gone to a place which dragon lives.

BR 1-10: Chinese Adventure

It was the first time to hear that there was such a family who had a firework party at home garden. I have looked at a lot of fireworks on a river in summer festival on summer, but I have never looked them at our home garden before. Generally considering, nobody will have firework parties at their own home gardens because it is so dangerous for trees and plants in the gardens to make a fire. Therefore I thought how dangerous the party was!
A birthday cake for Gran looked delicious very much, so I really wanted to eat it. Because of that, I ate a piece of cake as soon as I went home on the day. I like strawberry tarts so much, and I wonder what kind of cakes does Gran like. Also I wondered how old has she reached at the time, but I expected that she probably has reached 70 years old at the very least.
A dog which was in the Forbidden City looked like a bear for me, and I have never seen such a dog not only in zoo but also anywhere before, so I was really surprised to look at the dog for the first time, and I felt uneasy, he-he.
Moreover I have never seen such vases which were enough to put children's bodies in, so I wanted to enter the vase, too. I will use them for the place where I hide during playing hide-and-seek if I were them.
I knew later that the vase which the parents presented for Gran had made in Taiwan, and I worried about if Gran will realize the vase was different from the vase which she was presented by the parents.
I want to go to China someday and to do sightseeing somewhere once, too.

BR 1-09: Rotten Apples

I thought what was the title, Rotten Apples before I began to read this book. what dirty title this was!
First, I was impressed deeply at Biff to help her mother to clean their garden.
Then a street vendor who was like a clown at the circus came to near her house with drawing a cart. A horse was hitched to the cart.
Biff was going to dumped rotten apples, but she let the horse eat them as soon as she found the horse.
I was surprised at her act very much and could not believe it. I wonder why did Biff let the horse eat such apples. Those apples were rotten apples but why? I do not such a thing if I were she.
Generally considering, nobody probably do such a thing for animals. I wonder she did expect that the rotten apples would make the horse glad. It must not have been possible. I thought that Biff were a really big stupid idiot, that nobody should to have done that and I came to dislike her more and more.
The horse's head got to be going around and around then it sat down on the street. I was terrible sorry to look it, and I can not contain my angry with her act to give the animal rotten apples.
Not only I do not want to eat such apples but also other people. I'm sure of it.
Harry Smith said that Biff's rotten apples did him a good turn, but I thought it was wrong.
I wonder why nobody put themselves in the horse's shoes. I can not understand every one's thoughts at all.
I did not like this story, so I can not recommend this book. Moreover I wonder why was such a book written. This story did not convey the author's intention at all.

Golden Week Plans
I had been looking forward to this Golden Week. I expect that this Golden Week will be so busy. I will have my part-time job from at noon to at eight thirty p.m. on Saturday, 3rd. I will have my part-time job from at noon to at ten p.m. on Sunday, 4th. Then my family will have dinner with our relatives because the day is Children's Day, the 5th. Moreover I will have my part-time job from at five p.m. to at eight thirty p.m. on the day. I will have to bring a cake named Kintaro-cake home. I will go to Hikarinomori with a friend of mine on Tuesday, the 6th. The friend is eibeigakka's student. We have been friends ever since we first met at KGU a year ago. It will be the first time to play on our holiday, so I'm looking forward to the day very much.
